I run all of my games through Fritz (AFTER they're complete) and allow it to analyze for about 15s per move. Lots of good information in there.
What I'd LIKE to do is take the entire game and format it for printing... with diagrams after every move. I know Chessbase allows you to insert a diagram manually into the movelist which will then print out. Anyone have a tip/trick for having diagrams inserted *automagically*? Or maybe some third-party software which will take the gamescore along with Fritz's annotations and add diagrams to every move or however one wishes?
Danke!
i never heard of anythign that adds diagrams after everymove.... just the normal ones where u can add a diagram when ever u want... why would u want to add a diagram after everymove?
surely during the opening its not important.... like u don't need to see a diagram for 1.e4 and then 1...e5 and then 2.Nf3 etc.....
if u're thinking of printing them....thats a lot of ink, and if u thinking of storing them on cd etc... thats a lot of space....
the smallest diagrams i can get is.....1 diagram = 10kb and thats using a small daigram compared to fritz.... i used chessmaker1.5

Heh... have you SEEN the prices on hard drives? I don't believe space will be an issue. 🙂
During the opening it's not so critical. But when Fritz gives alternate variations at points it'd be nice to have the diagram following the move from which those variations sprung.
If I am ever printing out a game I insert diagrams at key positions (big mistakes with multiple variation alternatives) or when I want to demonstrate something (show a complex threat using the arrows or something).
