So does the flag disappear after 36 days? Also, the 36 day thing, does that mean if you take vacation #1 and are off for 18 days, you only have 18 more days of vacation time left? That is what you seem to be implying.

Did his/her vacation start when his/her last move was made? If not, he/she probably just consumed a bit of time-out/time-bank first.
