Vacation question

Is there some upper limit as to how long a person stays on vacation?

One dude I am playing has been on vacation for a full month.

What if it goes on 2 months, 3 months, a year?

Any recourse?

According to the "My vacations" page, you currently get 36 days per year....

Only if your opponent fails to move before the end of the vacation period,

So does the flag disappear after 36 days? Also, the 36 day thing, does that mean if you take vacation #1 and are off for 18 days, you only have 18 more days of vacation time left? That is what you seem to be implying.

Correct on both counts.You're only allowed 36 days per calendar year.Once they're gone they're gone and you can't carry days over -e.g if I only use 10 days in 2015 I don't get 46 days in 2016 but 36 again

Thanks for the update. They seem to have a new site and domain name (heathfieldsilverband.org) which no longer carries the music clip. They're local to me but I'm not actually a member. The tune can be heard on YouTube (obviously).

I think you said the max vacation time was 36 days. Two games I am in, same player, the vacation time is now 36 days and 1 hour. Does it have to go to 37 before a skull appears? I don't see anything indicating his time is up.

Did his/her vacation start when his/her last move was made? If not, he/she probably just consumed a bit of time-out/time-bank first.

Not sure but it could add 7 days so total time would be 43 days plus 3 so 46 days if he had done vacation on day one I suppose. It must have been close to zero time for him, we are in move 9, he at move # 8.
