I was play chess with my seven year old son today, he knows the moves but can't really play, He's white and the game started.
1) Nc3 ... g6
2) Ne4... Bg7
3) Nf6+... I explain that I can take his knight with 3 pieces Nxf6
4) b3....Ne4
5) Ba3.... Bxa1
6) Qxa1... At this point I'm not really paying much attention to the game as I'm also having a chat with my father who is watching and I reply e6.
Then I take a quick glance at the board and tell my son that he can make a good move which he soon spots.
7) Qxh8+, at which point I go to move my king to e7 and then suddendly see the bishop on a3 and realise I had been checkmated.....much to the amusement of my father!
