Anyway enough of this. Wandering King's orginal sac.
Was it sound?
I am always making up words. If people don't understand me then that is their problem!
My wife doesn't understand me even when I use words that she knows.
Anyway as far as the sac goes, my attitude has always been, if it works then its a sac, if it doesn't then its a blunder.

I already answered that question. If he takes the bishop he gets checkmated.
Originally posted by WanderingKing You said that, but that doesn't make it so. He gets checkmated in how many moves?
Once he takes the bishop, it is checkmate in 6 moves or less. The only move that will delay it to 6 moves is Rb1+. On second though it may take longer I just saw another move that stops the mate that quick. I look at it an get back to you.
I am back from dinner and looked over the game and the maximum it would take to checkmate after 22...gxh6 is 9 moves as follows:
23. Qxh6 f5 24. Ng5 Nd8 25. Qg6+ Kf8 26. Nh7+ Ke7 27. Qg5+ Kf7 28. Be2 Rb1+ 29. Rxb1 Ke8 30. Qg8+ Ke7 31. Qf8 checkmate.
Here is the PGN of the Game with the forced checkmate finish in 9 moves or less:

I used to spend a lot of time trying to memorize long variation in the openings when I was young. But now that I am 68 my memory is not that good, so I don't even attempt it anymore.

In Fischer 960 Chess one would have to do a hell of a lot of memorization. Also if everyone could have an analyze board in OTB Chess it might make things more even. That might be the the chess of the future or at least for senior citizens. I got a feeling GM Alexander Delchev would like that kind of chess.
