I do not know if you are being sarcastic or serious. I sure hope it is the latter 😀

Probably a balance between the two... honestly I'm not offended by much, and I enjoy a great laugh at the expense of myself (which is more hilarious) or others (less hilarious). But we are all here to play chess which I am trying very hard to learn (the library has taken quite a workout to get all the chess books I requested). I'm having great fun here, as should we all.

you know i had knew nothing of chess with the exception of how the pieces moved when I started in May. I have yet to read any books. I have found that taking 2-3 minutes to move greatly improves my game over moving every 30-60 seconds. Another thing I found is when someome has a queen in front of there king in the midgame you can often win the queen in a trade for you rook. will try to find example.

this player was 175 points above me so his mistake rather shocked me. Game 3706569

and another where I placed the opponent in check which led to a queen capture. Game 3754783

That is the biggest challenge I have to hurdle is to take more time with each move. When I blitz I tend to make horrible errors!
Thanks for the game posts, they are very helpful.

here is another common error. getting trapped behind your pawns after you have castled. it has happend to me several times however this particular game is a good example because he sacrificed his queen, which I eagerly took with my rook, to win it.
