I called in for a bye in the last round of my club tournament and it has been posted after the last round that I have a "U" ?
I know "W" for win and "L" for loss and "B" for Bye but what is "U" ?
I also did not get a half point for the bye I requested.

Does "U" mean Unavailable? Like a no-show?
I looked at the last round results and one other person had to take a bye because of my absense. Does that mean he got the win?

Yes I tried to call the club, so don't ask.
I've never gotten a "U" before.

Maybe it means unrated.

Warning disclaimer ...The above was only speculation.

It will be Undeveloped because you never moved
so none of your pieces were developed.

Unwanted...Useless...Most likely Unavailable,

That's too bad. I called for the bye. Maybe they didn't check the answering machine.

Maybe you can't have a bye in the last round.
