I'd be willing to bet that the resignation will outrule the checkmate. A resignation is processed during the move; checkmate is the outcome of a move. Logically the former should take hold before checkmate is realised.
Maybe it should count as a draw.
Only one way to know... try. Damned if I'm doing it though.

it could either be
1/2-1/2 draw
1-1 both players win
0-0 both players lose
(of course it could also be 1-0 or 0-1)
