It's a pretty safe looking position for white & the advantage is more psychological, especially if you get the chance to play it OTB:
1.e4...c6
2.d4...d5
3.e5...Bf5
4.Nf3...e6
5.Bd2 or Be2 to castle kingside or maybe Nc3 though this allows black to pin with his bishop with Bb4.
Either way it's pretty solid play against the Caro-Kann.
