#1 is King's Gambit Accepted, as White. Lots of fun. I like opening that involve lines of attack, gambits especially. They lead to beautiful combinations. π Others of note are the Evans Gambit and Benoni.
As white, the Danish gambit accepted is almost as good as sex, especially if black tries to cling to the freebies. Only problem is that it requires 1. e4 to which black can reply with ...
... c5 leading to the Sicillian defence, which gives black a solid and reliable game, and almost (but not quite) eliminates white's initiative.
So the biggest problem with favourite openings is that your opponents don't often give you the chance to play them.
