I like Be4 here.
He can't make use of Na2+, it’s a wasted move, and the bishop, I feel is more useful at e4. It will make him think twice about c5. I would have liked to have seen how this game would have played out.
you could send it as a set piece to a friend and finish it 🙂 the fen is in my post..
Originally posted by Tyrannosauruschexi like h4 too... the pawn battering ram opens up the kingside with promise. The bishop move is good, however its current placement isn't incorrect in any way.
h4 maybe? and follow up with h5 and then f5 - its a bit of a dodgy idea but it is aggressive at least.
Be4 may be a good move, but I don't see it required soon.
i push the pawn, h4.
The position is unbalanced enough for an interesting endgame. Black has at least equal chances in my opinion. Almost regardless of white's move he will play a4 and create himself chances.
h4 for white doesn't do much. The knight on g7 protects f5 and h5, so that would give black plenty of opportunity to go on with his own plan.
Kd2 seems ok, but not with the intention of Bd3. If black plays a5, I would rather play Kc3 or Be4 to delay black's initiative. Or first Be4 which may lead to similar variations.

and heres the board position

h4 - h5 seems the most logical plan. The black N can get itself decently posted on f5 although I don't think I'd offer to exchange a N for the white B as if the board can be closed down and the white B made bad the 2Ns will be better than N&B.
So whites plan must be to open things up and create lines for the B whereas black wants to get those white Ps on white squares and then cause havoc with his Ns.
I would definitely not play h4-h5, or even aim to play that. First of all, it simply loses the h-pawn if carried out without preparation. Secondly, if you make some preparatory moves (like Ng3) it takes too long and black can start a massacre on the queenside with a5, b5 etc.
I would play Kb2-c3 or Be4 (in no particular order) and then move the rooks over to the a-file. Ofcourse this all depends on whether black will try to break open the queenside as soon as possible or not.
