Never underestimate the power of check...I must admit, I thought I had blown that game when I gave up the d-pawn for nothing and got pinned there, but then he got greedy and opened the a-file...It was my only way out. If he had taken the rook he threatened, I had checkmate in two, plugging the a file back up would have forced a trade of queens and probably a draw...
