In the 3-7 clan-siege, 3. div, Romania got the 1.place this season. No surprise. (I play for TQM). I figured out before the league started, that very few of us would get points from Romania, and advised my team-mates to play slowly.
It turns out now, that a few from the Romanian team has been banned. Both ange47 User 183317 and ciprianstephan1 User 383457 are banned. Also Denmark has a player banned Ralex [uid]471504[uid].
However; A lot of players play fair and spends a lot of time and effort to get their team some points.
My opinion is that if a player is banned, in an ongoing season, his team should lose all matches played by this player, and the points the player received. Seems more fair.
Regards, P.
Sir, I both agree and disagree. As a player, with Romania, it is somewhat disheartening when team members get banned. I quite agree that the points gained by the banned player should be awarded to all his \ her defeated opposition, the fact that they are not is an oversight in extreme. I can only apologise for 'unfair tactics' employed by former members. Although I'm not involved in the rudementary aspects of my clan, it does affect the spirit for which we all gather on this site, merely to play a decent game of chess.
When playing your team, you say you gave instruction for 'slow play'.. what merit in such a tactic, may I ask ? I must be a tad slow also because I've never noticed. Then again, I've had some good games and rate of play does not come into the equation, you play as and when. Cheers, Dean G.
Hi. Thanks for your answer. I feel with you, and I cannot personally guarantee unethical play for all players in my clan. Everyone for themselves, neither of us to be responsible for others' actions. That aside.
Normally it is very hard to get points from a player very much stronger. No more no less. And Romania had a very much stronger team than ous (and most others). However, some players (not referring exclusively to your team) had very steep graphs, not matching their previous playing level. Not indicating cheeting, but it could be taken as suspicious.
The "slow play acition", was only an advice, not even followed up by myself 🙂
And; most of the games where fun and instructive as well. look forward to meet you.
