100 days - 7/8/08 or thereabouts.

Unless of course he starts a new game, or a new tourney round materializes.

Now the real question here is, if Akizy was rated 1468 or some other B.S. number, would anybody really care?

You know the guy has medical problems and you are sitting around like a vulture hoping something bad might happpen to him.

I don't think that you will take his place soon, my friend.

Everyone at the top of the list has medical problems.

It comes with the territory. Being good at chess trades off with health.

Not necessarily (sp?). Look at some one the best players in the world. They are still young. He worked over decades to get where he was (I'm assuming). He loves the game and studyed it.

Yeah, most of the best players in the world have fun little diseases, OCD, varying degrees of autism ranging to insanity--going with the historical case of morphy.
Brilliance, yes, I'm not challenging that. but mentally completely without anything... no. I don't think any top tierer is.
