black has a killer 12th move that forces white to sacrifice his queen a few moves later. (i think) not saying tho... only just found it 🙂

i play this set up a lot as black but haven't seen this line before...

Nh3 is a check. The is why White played Nc3 to stop Ne2+.

I looked at a few games.

You know what you are doing but are not stopping to give the position
a good look. Game 7707137 you missed a good in 'between move'
with a check winning a piece.

White to play. You played 1.e3. There is better.
