Lots of good moves here, eh?

Q+R+K vs 2 R+K for your line.

Anyone else?

1. QxR! threatens Qxa8 and Ng7+(fork):

if 1... RxQ 2. Ng7+ and 3. NxQ white is up a full Knight.
if 1... KxN (or QxN) 2. QxR(a8) and white is up a full Rook.

1.Qe7+ Kxf5 2.g4+ forking the black king and queen is much better because white will be up in exchange Queen vs. Rook. 😀

yeah...
queen vs. rook is better than being up only a full knight...
although, it should be won either way...

Rd8+ Kxf5 g4+

is better because Qxg4+ Qxg4 is mate...

whereas, Qe7+ kxf5 g4+ Qxg4 hxg4+ Kxg4 losses 2pawns...

Rd8+ accomplishes the same as Qe7+, but doesn't drop the pawns.

Edit:- thats wrong...missed Kxf4

1. Re1+ also wins the exchange of queen for rook: 1. ... Kxf5 2. g4+ (same idea) Kxf4 3. Qxc7+ (not gxh5? 4. Rg8! winning back the queen rook exchange) Kg5 5. gxh5.

Edit: Shindoki got there first, I assume this is what he means by Rd8+

1.Qxc7!

Grabbing the pawn and keeping the attack alive. Lots of mate threats here fellows!

1...Kxf5 2.g4+

2.Ng7+ mate or winning the queen.

Knight moves and then 3.f5 is mate.

How is white going to play Nf5-g7+ after white's played Kxf5?

Will Black play Kxf5 after Qxc7?

After Qxc7

If Kxf5 then g4+

something else then there is Ng7+, knight move and f5 mate etc...
