Most likely yes, though i have to say his recent games, especially with black, are really hard to grasp! As he said himself, he's accepting a position which is slightly worse for black but has dynamic potential. That's all well and good when you are Magnus, but to try and emulate that as an amateur? Forget about it!

LoL probably not.
Carlsen might be the best ever.

I doubt a cell phone app could produce chess at a 2700 level. If he did cheat it is more likely the heavy hitting would have been at a home computer and his cell just relayed positions and got answers that way.
If they can get his cell phone they could probably prove it one way or another.

Ok Lady's, Gent's.... My say, he is up there with the greats of all time. By the way do they drug test?
