Why am I playing so terribly?

It's not the games...I've actually cut about 140 off lately...But I'm getting worse with the fewer games I play.

Sometimes you have to just take a short break- like a week or two. Suddenly, when you come back, things just seem to "click". It's helped me.

me too.....take a week off.

Don't worry Josh, I've been playing poorly for about 3 months now. Just yesterday I dropped pieces in two different games against RedMike, a player against whom I usually have very interesting games.

At one point, I was decreasing my game load and my play started messing up. I entered a lot of tournaments and pop! My rating went back up!

Check your Volume Control Properties. 😛

maybe you have lost a little interest. Whenever i am looking forward to my games on here my rating goes you and when i'm not as interesed it goes down

you've hit 1900 here, almost one of the big boys, and you've dropped down to 1660. Just a bad run of luck, maybe, or have you been drinking a lot while playing?
