Seems like some good advice is being given thru these threads.
So i enjoy picking from the ensight that is shared.
I play, but it seems that I have come up against a block on closing people out, more exactly the endgame.
It seems like I have strong openings which lead to strong postion, but somewhere along the line ,my endgame leaves me in a pawn for pawn situation instead of two or three moves it takes my an extended amount of time.Which alot of time cost me the game!
Would like to have those great and less than examine my games and point anythang that might help me to get better.

I used to always struggle with my end game too. Well i still do a bit, but i can see it improving recently. Just practice i think. Practice of using rooks and pawns in conjunction.
A little trick i use as much as possible is to use their king against them. ie when you move a pawn it checks their king, so you 'buy' yourself an extra move. Also a good defence of someone nearlly promoting a pawn is to use one of your own pawns to start chargin up[ the board. This will stretch them a little, and hopefully, you will be able to either promote your pawn too or force them to give their high ranked pawn up.
There's loads of little tricks that can only be learnt by practice. I don't even know 1% of them yet. So get your board out and start playing with ya rooks and pawns mate. See how they work.

The endgame doesn't seem to get the attention it deserves in study. My endgame is relatively weak as well. But I improved it greatly from where it was by just reading a bit about the fundamentals. There are certain things you should be aware of..."opposition", pawn promotion, mating patterns and the like. It's definitely worth looking into it a bit.

Good luck
