This one game fits both criteria. Neither Queen moves at all and the attack

Next challenge is to see if Kevinmccaffery can last more than more
    35 moves v Paul. 🙂
That first game is crisp! I liked blacks knight manoeuvre h5-g7-f5, don't think i've seen that done before. I think had black castled before he tried that then the he'd have had a reasonable game.. 🙂

This one game fits both criteria. Neither Queen moves at all and the attack finishing in mate is carried out by the other bits. 21 moves.

Well done. Should I find myself in Embra again, you may suggest a pub.

"...Next, find one where the non-moved queen is the (only - no double check mates as in your second example!) mating piece."

We turn to Paul Leggett for the next example.

Paul Leggett - Kevinmccaffery RHP 2010 Game 7270419
(I'll just give the last move which was move 35.)

White checkmates with his unmoved Queen.

    Ok... but that one's cheating!

If you manage that, you really do deserve a pint of Embra's finest.

I know I'm a bit late with this one, but I just finished it up.

To be fair, my opponent gave away 2 pieces making this a runaway. Not moving my queen was just a side affect of the situation. But it is what it is.

Very nice win! You can only play the best moves the position allows and you certainly did that! 😀

I'm just relieved any time I have a game on the forum that does NOT feature me losing to a backward knight move that I overlooked. 😕

Haha, that's a hilarious mate! I have actually been mated this way about three times (as black). It is now cemented in my mind, have not had an opportunity to deliver it yet though. A comedy of errors! 😀
