Today playing in a Walter Muir quad event I won my first USCF game. While I realize in the grand scheme of things its not that big of a deal, I'm still happy. Hopefully I'll continue to improve and get even more enjoyment from my chess games.

On the venting side, I wish the USCF would develop their own CC chess webserver. I have to say I'm not a huge fan of the ICCF webchess server. There is no analysis board and you can only replay the game after you've moved not before to remind you of how the game has progressed and get you back in the flow if things.

Can you store your in-progress games ina database, so you can do your replays and analysis there? I know it isn't as nice as having those features built into the web server, as in here for example. However, it does sort of force you to archive your games into a database. Just a thought, as I don't play ICCF (yet).
