Marriage is a bit like a game of chess.
First you have a king and a Queen, and to start you are her knight in shining armour.
Then you get your castle, and are very happy for a while. After a while the sex goes, so you start bashing your bishop, then another Queen will come along and remove your Queen and try to keep you in check. Before you know it you are trapped, and finish up down at the pawn shop sacrificing all your worldly goods to survive.
