worst mistake made?

So being the real genus that I am, I from time to time do the opening on the wrong side (lol), openings that call for pawn above knight on king side to be moved get moved on the queens side. how about you, what is the worst move you've every done?

Back in the early 80's i had a chance to buy a Manhattan studio apartment near lincoln center for $35k. These days, such an apartment would go for $300k; $35k today would be the cost of parking space in Manhattan. Therefor this non action is clearly my worst move ever.

I don't know about forgetting what color I am, but I have been known to forget where the king is at (lol)
