I am new but I have read a lot of posts in the forums and I have looked at a lot of profiles and I notice some people have stopped playing chess here yet they continue to post in the forums?
Why?
If you think another chess site is better why don't you post in the forums there?
Or why don't you play here?
Finding the time to post in the forums seems plenty of time to make a move no?
I have played on many chess websites, but here I notice a lot of people who don't play here yet they post here?
A desire to be heard yet you play somewhere else?
I played at chess.com for years but the forums are so dull!
I heard the forums at redhotpawn are good so I joined.
I have read plenty here and yes they are good. Violent towards new people but still good.
So my question is, well maybe it's a statement.
"Since you left? why not stay gone?"
So you want fewer players to visit and contribute to this site unless they do so on your terms? Interesting and duly noted. If your goal is to destroy a website and shrink its audience by alienating its members, your philosophy is logical. The endless double posting also makes me more likely to visit these forums again. Thank you!
BTW: I doubt you've played on chess.com "for years" given that it has barely been around for two years.
Great job at addressing the clearly designated tangential point of the post. I can count but unless you were there essentially from the founding of chess.com, "for years" is an unlikely description. Moreover, even if you were there from the beginning, the description implies significantly more than two years. In any case, I feel like I'm dealing with a child wanting attention (double posts certainly suggest this, as does the general tone) so I will leave others to answer your need.
Well, your previous post disappeared (you completely changed it twice) so mine doesn't make much sense as a response. But, yes, if that satisfies you fine. "You are all-knowing." as you quoted me saying. You're clearly bored and are just trying to tease people into arguing with you. That used to be fun to me too, but I'm not in the mood.
EDIT: I just noticed you're a new member. Welcome, but there are better ways to introduce yourself. 😀
