What is your best played #1 game that you've had on RHP that you couldn't forget - an exemplary game to show others. No comebacks - just a game that is the best you've had.

Mine - Game 3386034

For one, I love this aggressive opening, which is why I asked for the tournament.

This is the best chess game I have ever played. It was against Horsey, a very good 1800+ player. The sacrifices I made were insighful and very good - I had it to where if I sacrificed pieces, eventually I would force him into the other side of the board and checkmate. For about 7-10 moves straight he only had 2-3 realistic choices of moves. The best game I've had, but I'm sure that others have outkicked it.

Looking back, he was "forced" from move 6 to move 16 - either he lost some big pieces or he went to mate 🙂
Don't mean to brag, just explaining why I call it my best game.

This one was a work of art and, according to fritz, entirely sound on my part. In fact, if I remember correctly, fritz presented no improvements, which is remarkable considering the complexity of the game.

Nice game... I thought fritz refuted the fried liver, explaining why it's avoided by both sides at the high levels. Interesting.

classy game and traxler game
You played brilliantly: Made some fine exchanges and played your positions decently. I need to really look at it, seeing as an engine agrees with it, musta been a good one. 🙂

And squelchbelch those 2 games looked very fun. But i can't understand why black would exchange so much for a queen - in both games!

I wonder why an engine refutes the FLA for white. Seems to be decent for white.

I hate to show this one again, because I have so many times, but I love it and it's definitely my best. The tactic at the end to win is just beautiful.

Mine is definitely Game 3686670, albeit a game in progress...

I would love to explain my favorite move(s), but I will refrain... 😉

Win, lose, or draw, I'm always going to remember this game...

There might be some others better than this one, but after playing a lot of games, this is the only one that always sticks in my mind.

Game 3740539

while I know that white taking on f7 was a mistake, and he fell into checkmate at the end, I like the way this game started. I was essentially out of mental book after only a couple moves and had to create a plan. Needless to say, I chose the c5 push and procded to have some fun with him. I do believe that if he had only taken on g7, and not f7 it would have been closer, but the doubled c pawns and my center majority would (i feel) have won it in the end.

EDIT: I also like how I was able to exchange off my two rooks for his two bishop and 1 rook, it would have been a fun imbalance to play with, but the game ended quickly afterwards.

Rg1+ and Qg1+, a beautiful combo.

As for my exemplary game, Game 3238016 would be the closest to meeting all the criteria.
