Your favorite opening

Whats your favorite opening to play either with black or white?

Mine is the Kings Indian Defence with black although I also like to play the white side of it.

white: Scoths Gambit

black: KID, Pirc

White: The Queens Gambit Exchange

Black: The Modern

White: Colle System
Black: KID

White: Guioco Piano, Scotch Game or Evans Gambit
Black: no real favorites here, I try to break the game open as soon as possible.

White - Queen's gambit Accepted

Black - still trying to find the right one.. been doing French Advanced variation, but would prefer if white would use the Exchange variation!

White: Ruy Lopez - learn the basics first before venturing out.
Black: Petroff - strong against non-master players.

White - Trompowski Attack, Colle system and sometimes Torre Attack.
Black - Definitely my favorite is the Ruy Lopez Open.

with as many people who play the Ruy Lopez against me, you'd think I'd see more of it here.

I was kinda wondering about this myself. There's bound to be more Spanish (Ruy Lopez) players here somewhere.

fischer777 , fried liver is a variation of a number of openings . Although , I have the rate at which openings it comes from .
Two Knights (Fried Liver) : 52 %
Italian (Fried Liver) : 34 %
Sicilian (Fried Liver) : 10 %
Ruy Lopez (Fried Liver) : 4%

Ruy Lopez is the Only White Opening I play,

I have fallen for the Sicilan recently

I like the French Defense, the Nimzo Indian, the Smith-Morra and the King's Gambit.
