What's your best rivalry on this site? My best one is probably User 705938. We're fairly evenly matched; I have won 5 of the 9 games with none drawn.
Here's a win and a loss from the collection.

Bh3 {But he prefers to grab a better diagonal for the B.} Rf6 18. gxf4 {A little surprising that he'd help me out like this. But he has decided that he, too, is going to play on the Kside.} gxf4 19. The way the game turned out, she needed to be on f7 and I could have saved this tempo.} 23. f3 Kh8 24. Be1 Rg8 25. Rg2 {There he goes.} Qf7 26. h4 Nh7 27. Rfg1 {An unusual feeling when your g7 B is <i>pinned</i> in a classical KID setup.} Nf8 28. h5 {Back to g5 it is, to clog up the works, even at the cost of a pawn.} Nh7 29. Bh4 Ng5 30. Bxg5 hxg5 31. The reality is that after ...QxQ I don't have enough for the pawn, but white feels 'in control' and decides that he is above spending time on trading.} 33. dxc6 bxc6 34. Rd1 Qxg5 35. Rxg5 Bf8 36. But then Bg6 was better.} Nd4 43. a3 {Finally, a mistake from white. My Nd4 is already a thorn in the side and this lets the Rook in to help.} Rf8 44. Bd7 Rb8 45. Nd1 Rb3 46. Kg2 {"Not so fast!" says white as I try to get the P back. My N needs to watch c6, so I can't take the f-pawn yet.} a4 {Fine, let's clamp that backward pawn down. The wR just can't get back to help.} 47. Rg6 Rd3 48. Nc3 Rd2+ 49. Kf1 Nxf3 50. Bxc6 {I was jonesing for ...Bh4 but he can just Ne2 to shut off my Rook.} Rxb2 51. Nd5 {He leaves?!} Bh4 {Woohoo!} 52. I don't consider anyone here a true rival. I've had rivalries in the past at the chess club. To me it's hard to really have a rival unless I am face to face with the person, having to face their play and their presence and personality is much different than playing a position and a nickname. IMHO

Maybe I'm weird, but I can sense some people's personalities in their moves...?
But I hear ya - it's not exactly the same as an in-person rivalry. I came up with this one after going through my performance (http://www.playtheimmortalgame.com/myhome/myvs.php) and I selected an opponent close to my own size that I have played a lot of games against.
