With the rising popularity of internet Correspondence Chess like RHP and other sites, two pathetic creatured have evolved: 1. Zombies: Those who, despite being down much material, play on (very slowly) in a deliberate attempt to wear down there frustrated opponent, in hopes they will quit playing. 2. Cheaters: Those who use chess engines to spoon feed them strong moves to use against there online opponent. I've found the best way to deal with a Zombie is to simply find the strongest move to play against them, and resolve to play on until they are mated. Just remember, there stalling tactic is impolite, but NOT illegal. Regarding cheaters, All I can advise is keep an accurate game log and forward it to the tournament director, or website offical and hope for a ruling against your cheating opponent. Zombies and Cheaters are pathetic creatures that will not go away anytime soon. I believe it's best to realize that these people make up a small minority of our opponents, and that we can sharpen our skills playing against them, as well as players of better moral fiber. This advise may seem overly simple, but it is often forgotten or ignored when confronted with a Zombie or a Cheater.😏
Originally posted by bill718Zombies play bad being material down, so i have no problem with them. Cheaters - play very strong and they are still here. You can find many 2100+ players, that play more then 50 or even 100 games in progress. They move very quick and win almost all their games. Every human that KNOW what is this to play chess and how complicated this game is, know that it's impossible.

Cheaters is the biggest reason of absence of many good players here
:'( 🙁 😠
P.S. Sorry for my terrible English
Zombies are not a problem if you subscribe. Doesn't waste your game spaces so doesn't matter how long the game takes. And its not always a good idea to resign apparently lost games. I know I've managed to win or draw games that earlier on I had thought were certain loses. If you are in a bad position, then its up to your opponent to convert that, and not up to you to resign. Although I accept that there are plenty more games where I would resign or where its a bit annoying when my opponent does not resign because the position is so overwhelmingly lost.
