You haven't gotten the idea. The letters must be consecutive, e.g. EXA as in example.

SYF - pussyfoot (intr.v., -foot·ed, -foot·ing, -foots.

1. To move stealthily or cautiously.
2. Informal. To act or proceed cautiously or timidly to avoid committing oneself.)

KWR - not sure if it counts but DESKWRITER? a family of HP printers? ... don't think proper nouns count though eh?

Pussyfoot is correct.

Deskwriter may well be correct,although as a word, to me it doesn't sound quite right.
Either way it wasn't the word I originally had in mind.
