Fine by me, if that's what you want.

4!+(4!+4)/4 = 31

( sqrt( sqrt( (sqrt(4)^4!) ) ) + sqrt(4) )/2 = (2^6+2)/2 = 33

4!+sqrt4+4+4=34

4!+(44/4)=35

Really hard one: 44-4-4=36

4! + 4 + 4 /|.4 = 24 + 4 + 4/(4/9) = 37

another one, but too long:
444 * sqrt(4) / 4! = 37

i contemplated the |.4, but then that is using more than 4 4's and isn't in the list of allowable operations...

its in the list of the thread starter though.

besides, when you write |.4 you have to write one 4 only. to me that seems a lesser problem than the sqrt which is 2nd root (and not 4th root or so)
