Parentheses ( )
Subtraction -
Multiplication *
Division /
Square root sqrt()
Factorial ! (but not sub)
Power ^
Decimal .
and the overline (an infinitely repeating digit), show it as |

They can all be done!

i contemplated the |.4, but then that is using more than 4 4's and isn't in the list of allowable operations...

its in the list of the thread starter though.

besides, when you write |.4 you have to write one 4 only. to me that seems a lesser problem than the sqrt which is 2nd root (and not 4th root or so)
