A New Thread on Middlegame Puzzles

I'll start with five, I think.
1) Black to play and mate in 2. It is a fairly easy one- I'd say 2 stars out of 5.

The second puzzle;
2) Black to play, what would you play for a decisive comeback? 1 star out of 5.

Unfortunately though, Nxe2 is not the move I am thinking of.

Yes, I now think it is in 2. I call it a middlegame puzzle because I think it is not yet the endgame.

Nxf2 Rxf2 exf2 Kxd2 doesn't work either for black

Sorry, that's not how puzzles work. There are now too many winning moves for black.

5) I hope that this one will work. It is a puzzle about best moves. What would you play and why? Black to play.

By the way, the knight on g1 IS a Black knight and it isn't a typo.
