    I originally heard a similar riddle on "Super Friends" that Batman had to solve, went something like this

    "What has the power to build walls,
    or tear them down.
    It may make men blind,
    or can be used to help men see"

    Of course Batman solved it before his silly little side kick "The Boy Blunder"

    I remember the episode, Batman was asked that question by the Sphinx, and was in hot pusuit of some evil-doer!
