There is a common problem that those birds that bang their heads against the trees to make holes (Can't remember their name) make holes in irrigation pipes on farmer's fields (made out of plastic).
The question is why? Can't the birds tell between a pipe and a tree?

*The pipes are made of plastic, not the fields.

The birds don't care if it's a pipe or tree. All they want is to make a hole for their nest. They don't know the pipe is hollow.

I believe woodpeckers peck holes in trees in order to get to the bugs hiding inside.

Yeah perhaps, but still: Why poke a pipe when there are so many trees around?

They're looking for ultra-realistic PVC worms to use as bait to catch trout and marlon, just like on TV.

Well, think about it: Do birds bang their heads against all trees?

This is correct, wood peckers listen to the tree and can hear the bugs under the bark so then they peck at the tree to get the bugs out, my only explaination for the pipes is that the water rushing sounds like bugs crawling....

One silly one did it and the others are all copying him. Birds of a feather and all that.

Don't bother I'll throw myself out.

    I believe I had a coat.

    Hehehehe
