If the cause of the death is boredom, I don't know. However, if the person died while bored, then yes, I know some of those people.

it's impossible to die of boredom. depression, yes. lack of energy, sure. boredom, no.

You can't die from depression, though it can lead to suicide or decreased defensive instinct.

Not quite true. A catatonic depression leaves you in an immobile non-responsive state in which you're likely to get potentially
fatal bedsores, DVT/PE, malnutrition etc.
