    Back to first one for a minute... I must be dumber 'n I thunk then. I still can't see it. Solution says Rg2 is key, so do that, then Ke3, solution says Qe2++. I can't see why that's the end. What's stopping Kd4? Should I get my coat?

    Rg4++
    ==================
    ☼Rg2:Kf3
    Qe2:Kf4

    1.Rg2 Kd4 2.Rg3! Ke4 3.Qc4# is what they meant to say 😛

    Yes. Qb3 is not correct. Rg3 is the required response - to effect mate in three - forcing Ke4 allowing Qc4++.
