we graph two cones, sharing vertex (0,0,0). the graph for this is X^2+Z^2=Y^2. we can then make a hyperbole by graphing X vs. Y for Z=1. using made-up notation, that's (X,Y)>X=1

it then follows that we can graph a perabola: (X,Y+Z)>Y=Z+1
an elips: (X,Y+2Z)>Y=(Z/2)+1

my first qustion: dose this actualy work/make sence?

my second question: what shape is (X,Y+Z/2)>Y=2Z+1 ?
