There is a way to reset both. Under the memory menu, go to reset, and go to the "All" tab.

I do believe that I was requesting solutions for "scientific" calculators.

Then you use David113 method or sonhouse's, they dont require graphing calculators......

If you have Microsoft Excel, there is a Random number generator in that program. then you could screw around in word processing class, and pay attention in Calculus!!😉

Ordinary computers can't generate truly random numbers, so the question remains how random you want the number to be.
