Did he believed that something (has) happened with the train?
Did he believed that something (has) happened with anything else?
Did he believed that something (has) happened with himself?
Did he believed that something (has) happened with anybody else?
Did he believed that if he didn't kill himself he would have died another way?
Did he believed that someone wanted to kill him

Is anything what happened before is relevant?
Did he want to smoke in the train?

the place of the train is relevant...
Is the country where the train is relevant?
Is the distance from the train to the men's destination relevant?
Is the distance from the train to the next train station relevant?

Is there a play on words involved in the original presentation of the puzzle?

Did this actually happen in reality?

This was unclear:

Could anyone else be it? (is it a specific person) NO

If the NO applied to the first question, it means the opposite as if NO applied to the second question, I think. So, to clarify:

Is the man a specific man?
Does the answer include knowing the man's name?
