Well since any attack that involves the suicide of the attacker can be defined as Kamakaze no, no they don't.

Although I would expect you might mean the japs in WW2 with there planes in this case I think they did.

"Do Kamakazes where helmets?"
"Do Kamakazes wear helmets?"

Yes. If you fly a plane packed with high explosives into a solid object at several hundred miles per hour, a helmet will significantly increase your chances of survival.

Also, don't forget your seatbelt.

of course they wear helmets and seatbelts. And of course they have a pillow on their seat. and of course they wear goggles. The reason for this is that they dont want to limit their chance of reaching their target by not taking precautions if they dont make it and crash in a field or their bum hurts and they have to yank their underwear out their ars and they fly into the ocean, failing the kamikazee. if i was a kamikazee ill take every luxury and precaution so that i reach my target and complete the mission.

If I were a kamikaze, I would take every precaution to ensure that I didn't complete me mission.

"Of course I wear a helmet! I'm a kamikaze, I'm not suicidal, for good sake!"
...one pilots last words, translated from japanese.
