You mean like writing it on a piece of paper... good thinking, then the space button is irrelevant. And nice trying to down someone's good idea.

I am not trying to down someones Idea its an honest question and there are other word proccesors besides Microsoft.

Copy a space character from some other document and paste it as needed.

That'll work in any Windows application.

If they're using a different operating system, then that's a problem. But there's probably an equivalent.

and if you magically don't have that, the character map (assuming windows environment) is your friend.

Use any character you want, and colour it white.
