I can't find who Bellerophon's or Odysseus' parents were.
A citation for the former: Odyssey of Homer, Book XI, line 59-60:
'So I [Odysseus] spoke, and he [Elpenor] groaned aloud and spoke
and answered: "Son of Laertes and seed of Zeus, rouscerful Odysseus..."'
A citation for the latter: Odyssey of Homer, Book XI, line 84-86:
'Next there came to me the soul of my [Odysseus's] dead mother,
Antikleia, daughter of great-hearted Autolukos, whom I had left alive
when I went to sacred Ilion.'
Bellerophon I had to look up. His father was ostensibly Glaucus, King of
Corinth (not to be confused with the sea god). However, his REAL father
was Poseidon (evidently, sources differ on this datum). While I recalled this
upon reading it, his mother I had never heard of: Eurynome.

skin of the goat, Amaltheia. It was reportedly impenetrable.
Also, her horns were magical as well. When Zeus skinned her
(after being raised by her), he took her horns as well -- one
produced nectar, the other ambrosia, the drink and food of the
gods.
As far as I recall, Athena's breastplate was unremarkable.

Edit: It appears my recollection is incorrect. Aegis can refer to
a breastplate or a shield made of goatskin. While I recall that
Athena's breastplate was made of metal, her shield (evidently)
was not. It was made of goat-skin, with Medusa's head at the
center (courtesy Perseus).

Now, here is a tricky one, Poseidon had two children with the gorgon Medusa, however, one was a monster and one was a beautiful, who were they?
I knew different elements of this story from independent reading
but never put it together!
I knew that Poseidon had an affair with her in Athena's temple, but
didn't know that she begot any children by it. Evidently, when Athena
transformed her, it made her unable to bear these children.
I knew that, when Perseus cut off Medusa's head, Pegasus flew forth
from her neck.
I never realized that this was her child! Evidently, other sources
suggest that Pegasus was NOT her child, and was formed from her
blood rather than issuing forth from her severed neck.
However, I never knew that Pegasus had a brother: Khrysaor.
He is described variously as a giant or a winged boar. He apparently
was the father of Geryon (the giant with three torsos, but one set of
legs whom Hercules kills on the island of Erytheia) with Oceanus's
daughter, Callirhoe (some sources say Aphrodite!)
I don't know which one we would characterize as the monster or
beautiful.

I don't think a goat could give good companionship, if you hug it you could get kicked in the...um... rear end, and those hooves are HARD! (Personal expierience π³)
