How about a game of "smiley" hangman

You need to guess the word in the usual way, but instead of gallows, we will use the smileys (easier). 10 tries (is that the usual amount?), means

EDIT: to clarify, each wrong guess is another smiley - left to right. get to the end and its *makes hanging gesture
