Seriously, very nice problem-joke. I like how king can't escape to 10th row either :-)

The solution would involve some serious lateral thinking. Anybody from your club managed to solve it? 😛

Yes, suspiciously enough. After seing my "white to play and mate in a half" where the answer was just to pick up a piece and not put it down, people have got used to my type of puzzles 😉
