Draw a square 30x30mm,on each corners write number 6 outside of the square,in side the square write number 20, on top and bottom of number 20 outside of the square write number 10. All the numbers added equal 64,remove two numbers,so the rest of the numbers added, equals to number 40 GOOD LUCK..

@eye-of-horus-42

So this is probably a folding trickand I think I didn't get the instructions right.
maybe it is a trick about turning the box 180°, then the 1 needs to be a line instead of the proper number with a hook, the sices beome nines ,,,

Nothing to fold, just remove two numbers so the rest of them add up to 40..

"remove two numbers"

You don't say how to get those two numbers

So

add the top two 6's to get 6+6 = 12
add the bottom two 6's to get 12

Remove the two 12's

Remaining 10+20+10 = 40

Because the puzzle is meant for more people not just you, you're the only one to respond.

Am I correct?

It's not you forgot the others 4 sixes. You must add all the numbers 4 sixes =24 +2 tens+20+ 20=64 now remove two numbers so the rest remaining numbers =40. I hope that now you got it.

I am confused

I did use all four sixes; I added each pair to make 12 and then deducted two numbers ie - the two 12's to get 40.

64 less two twelves ie two pairs of 6's (24) = 64 less 24 = 40.

So I did not forget 4 other sixes

As no-one else is responding; maybe you could explain to a simpleton like me.

Look 4 sixes equals 24 plus 2 tens equals 20 plus 20 equals 64. Now remove only two numbers so the rest of the numbers on added equal 40 that's it....

OK

I thought I was being clever - obviously not

Why doesn't the genious care to explain as no-one else seems interested in your puzzle

ALL RIGHT HERE IS THE ANSWER!! REMOVE NUMBER 6 AND NUMBER 0, YOU REMOVED 24. THERE FOR 3 SIXES= 18. 20-0=2. 10+10 =20 SO 18+2+20=(40 ) I HOPE YOU GOT IT NOW!!!!!

20-0=2??? Certainly not.

From four sixes remove one therefore three sixes =18 remove 0 remains 2, 18+2=20+the 2 tens which 20+20 = 40. i hope this is clear.
