Funny thing is, my first thought when I saw the puzzle was, Ba8 would be just so nice.

1. Ba8 Kd4
2. Rc7+
... Ke4
3. Rxc5 dxc5
4. d6 mate
... Kxc4
3. Rb7 Kxd5
4. Rb4 mate

Yeah. Problems have come full circle - now moves like 1.Ba8! are more obvious, because it "looks like a good key".

I think its difficult to see the material-gain-move if you dont know the mate idea. Still nice though 😉
