Riddle for Royalchicken 01

A young couple are about to buy a newly built house.The builder
is showing them around and has just reached the bedrooms when
he excuses himself and goes to look out the window.With a look
of exasperation he flings the window open and yells,
Green side up , Charlie ! Green side up.He turns back and smiling
apologetically explains that he has recently taken on a new lad who
is none too bright.Several times during the conversation he flings
the window open and shouts the same message to Charlie,but what
does it mean?
