Riddles

These riddles really made me think:

1. A man builds a square house, every side facing south. A big bear walks by. What colour is the bear?

2. Some months have 30 days, some have 31. how many have 28?

3. You have two coins totalling 11 pence. One of the coins is not a 10 pence piece. What are the 2 coins?

4. If two monkeys sit in the corner of a square room and look at another pair in another corner, and so on until four pairs of monkeys are looking at other pairs, how many monkeys could say they were looking at other monkeys?

I'm rubbish at solving riddles, hopefully you'll do better than me. 🙄

number 2 is all months of the year😛

number three is ten pence and 1 pence😛

number four might be 8 or 10

been a long time since I was in this forum, but just dropped in as nobody is moving of late to kill some time: so (1) is white and (4) is none. (2) and (3) answered above it seems.

Drunken cowboys can't tell how many days they've been drunk.

His horse is called Friday. Either that or man-friday's career really went downhill after the shipwreck thing...

A man is found hung 9 feet from the ground, he is only 6 feet tall and the rope is 1 foot long, there is a puddle beneath him and the room is empty.

How did he hang himself.
