    Hiya,

    I think it has to be

    7.Qg8 Qa2 first, then
    8.Qe8 Qa4 etc,

    the immediate Qe8 is met by Qg7 preventing the discovered check 🙂

    so if somebody solved this without moving pieces under 10 minutes, he should be very proud.

    and Qg8 indeed wins and is best.

    EDIT: by the way. it took over 2 minutes for Kasparov to solve this.
    i dont really know notations so i'll try. white pawn on the left take black pawn, black takes white pawn back. white pawn on the far right move down the board and beat the black pawn to a queen. if black king tries to cut of white pawn, white king can protect the white pawn cause it will get there before black king.

    i solved it in like fifteen seconds, well that is if i solved it right anyways.

    simple move the pawn on sqaure A 2 to A 8 to get a queen
