the new mars probe

hope this fits here.
i heard that the most recent nasa probe to mars has reached the surface of the planet successfully.
did anyone else wonder, as i did, if that event was named informally as "the land of opportunity"?

What kind of opportunity?
I've got the feeling that it's going to be a STARCRAFT Terran campaign.
