Spurious logic involved perhaps! The sci-fi character that was shortened was chewbacca, something that is "chewie" is tricky to eat, part of a sneeze: "At'chooo'" added to the only thing in 'ordered' and 'neat', ie the letter 'e', giving "choooe" = chewie. Ahem. There was a method to the madness, honest 😀

They were on a show when I was a kid.
I'm 32 and live in the USA.

They were not alive.
But they made you laugh.
They were green and pink and purple...
Some blew up, and some were Animals...
Some spoke french, and some gibberish...

They were so popular they even had a movie or 2.
