1. Bd7!

2. ... d5 2. Nc3#

Nice puzzles. Easy or not, they help anyway (and are fun to solve).

1...Ke5!

Can't give the K that much freedom.

You see, slayer01, this problem is more difficult than you thought. 😛

=) You still only one with correct solution so far Swiss gambit 🙂

Hint :
You may be able to see that black atm has only 2 moves (c5 and e5) find a move which you can then checkmate him/her in both cases.
EVEN BIGGER HINT: You may then see that it is only posible for one piece to be moved to keep black with only 2 replys ...

HINT SO BIG IT PRACTIALLY GIVES THE GAME AWAY :
Threaten Mate on both b7 and c4 if either pawn moves.

Thanks but kind of ruined the puzzle.... I was enjoying working on it.

1. Ba6! c5
2. Bb7#

or:

1. Ba6! e5
2. Bc4#

I am not sure... but I think your intended solution is Bc5. This fails, however, due to 0-0-0, Kd8, etc. I cannot see in my brief glance (I'm in a hurry), any other mate in 2.
